Every single project brings with it new challenges and opportunities for us to learn and conquer new milestones both in terms of design ideation and execution on site. This office was to be accommodated in an existing building. It had a much lower ceiling compared to the more modern structures which was a design challenge in itself. All the structural elements, ducts, pipes etc which are otherwise hidden by a false ceiling were completely exposed and treated accordingly to give a raw, yet aesthetic appeal. They were also treated appropriately to ensure good acoustics and user experience. The flooring was unfit for use and had to be redone completely. It was replaced with customized carpeting and tailored flooring design. Ergonomics, optimisation of the space available and creating a pleasant work environment were the factors that we had to keep in mind while designing and executing the same on site. We successfully delivered the project as per the timelines while creating unique design solutions in response to the context.
