The pandemic that hit the globe in 2020 put a halt on operations across the world. It also led to expansive reverse migration, especially in the labor community as people walked hundreds of kilometers to unite with their loved ones in times unprecedented. This project was started after the first lockdown which meant that most of the laborers had returned home, and there were new and very strict Covid guidelines in place. Sophisticated and elegant design aesthetics were the highlight of this office interior and ergonomics and the comfort of the users were the most determining factors that both the designers and the engineers had to keep in mind. Apart from this optimisation the space for maximum utility without compromising on the quality of the space was another factor that determined the spatial design.
Keeping the Covid guidelines in place, educating the team on site on the importance of masking up, social distancing etc and ensuring that they were monitored for any symptoms with a doctor on site were some of the practices we put in place during the execution of this project on site. While the deadlines had to be met, equal importance was given to the safety of our team on site and offsite to ensure smooth execution and a superior outcome.
